In-text Coding

Redaction
This process involves editing and preparation of the document for publishing. Redacted documents such as e-mails etc. have sensitive information deleted or expunged from their data. This term is widely being used these for maintaining the privacy and security of data. There are different ways to redact a document but the best way is to ensure that the source contains no irrelevant or unwanted data. For this purpose a simple-text-editor such as Notepad is used. A Notepad uses simple .txt format and does not save any hidden code

Affidavits
This is a formal statement of fact sworn and signed by the deponent or declarant and witnessed by another person. The oath is taken in front of a notary public. This legal document is used at the stage of evidence to gather information, to obtain the declaration for a legal document etc. This is a legal document and the deponent is bound by it.
Complaint
This is a legal document setting out the basic facts and reasons sufficient to support and frame charges and claims against the other party. The party filing the complaint is a plaintiff and the party against whom the claim is filed is called the defendant. The plaintiff is entitled to a remedy by the defendant.
Transcripts
A transcript is basically the hand written or typed record of spoken words or language. In court proceedings, transcript is the record of all the words spoken by the judge and the arguments cited by the lawyer. Transcripts include the exact versions of the proceedings and are not edited. In today’s time most of the courts have started using digital recording mechanisms which are less time consuming and efficient.
Declarations
This refers to an award granted by the arbitral tribunal and also a judgment of a court of law. If given by an arbitral tribunal it is called a declaratory award and if given by the court of law it is called a declaratory judgment. This type of relief is generally granted in family and probate proceedings and insurance claims.
Employment agreement
An employment agreement is a contract entered into between the employee and the employer at the commencement of the employment stating their relationship, compensation, work and other relevant conditions.

This is an agreement entered into between the parties and governs the marketing strategy of a particular item or commodity.
Non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements
This is a contract between two parties which outlines the confidential information and materials that the parties wish to share for certain specific purposes. The parties agree that they will not disclose this information to anyone as it is confidential among the parties only. This agreement is enter into to maintain the secrecy of trade secrets.
Letters of intent
A letter of intent is a document sent to the other party outlining the contents of the agreement between the two parties before the agreement is actually finalized. This contract is similar to a written contract but is not binding upon the two parties. However, a letter of intent may contain provisions which are binding upon the parties based on mutual consent and will of the parties. This basically clarifies the contents of the transaction that is going to take place between the parties and declares that the parties are into a negotiation. This can also be referred to as a memorandum of understanding.
Demurrer
This is a pleading by the defendant contesting the legal sufficiency of the order or complaint filed by the other party. In this the defendant does not admit or deny the allegations.
